8:00 p.m., Monday, March 30 — Law responded to reports from a concerned family member about a subject threatening suicide. A deputy was able to make contact and found the feelings had passed and the subject appeared to be ok. The subject was offered multiple resources and was referred to the crisis response team for further care. La Conner

Sad discovery

3:30 p.m., Tuesday, March 31 — A citizen walking the boardwalk in town noticed a deceased dog floating in the channel and was able to collect it for evidence. Animal control responded and the animal was found to be part of a larger investigation involving multiple dogs that had washed up on the local coastline. This investigation is ongoing to determine where the animals came from and what type of animal they are. La Conner boardwalk

Piped up

1:10 p.m., Thursday, April 2 — Reports of a female customer who appeared to be under the influence and was stumbling in the store. The subject was seen to have a pipe on her person and possibly drugs in her purse. A deputy arrived but the female had already left as a passenger in a car. Morris Street

No parking, no problem

11:50 a.m., Friday, April 3 — Reports of cars parking in the lane of travel and making it hard to navigate around them. A Traffic Deputy responded and was able to get the cars moved to proper parking locations. Morris and Third

8:45 p.m., Saturday, April 4 — A mid 20’s male called 911 to report several medical issues and feeling suicidal. Law and medics arrived and were able to get the subject transported to the hospital for physical and mental health treatment. La Conner.
