Fire out 4:04 p.m., Sunday, June 7 – The fire department reported several vehicles parked in a fire lane. A deputy attempted to contact one owner and left a voicemail, but the vehicles cleared out before further action was required. 1st Street
Turned in 2:32 p.m., Tuesday, June 9 – A good Samaritan turned in a found debit card at Town Hall. The out-of-area owner, who said “I love La Conner,” had already cancelled the card, making the reunion more sentimental than financial. Town Hall
Scratch off 4:07 p.m., Saturday, June 13 – An overnight hit and run did about $1,000 in damage on private property. No note was left behind, and with no video footage or leads available, the culprit remains a mystery. 1st Street
Pedal to the pole7:41 p.m., Sunday, June 14 – A truck towing a boat trailer reportedly met a power pole up close. The driver believed the only damage was to their own equipment. PSE checked the pole and found it still standing strong. 4th Street
