6:47 a.m., Monday, Sept. 14 — A resident reported their white 1994 Toyota pickup missing from where it had been parked. The truck was last seen two nights earlier, before the resident left town for the weekend. Nobody had permission to take the vehicle. 1st Street

10:41 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 16 — An alarm brought a deputy to the scene, where a member of the cleaning crew explained they had accidentally set it off on the way out. A walk-around confirmed the building was secure. 3rd Street
Bumper cars
7:02 a.m., Thursday, Sept. 17 — A driver approaching a stop sign discovered their vehicle’s mechanical issues prevented braking. The vehicle struck the car ahead, which was pushed into a third vehicle. No injuries were reported, the first two parties exchanged information, and the vehicles drove away. Morris Street
Rocky start, smooth sailing
12:44 p.m., Friday, Sept. 18 — Deputies headed out from La Conner after a report of a boat near the rocks. They found the boat and its occupants safely in open water. Crisis averted, rocks avoided. Saddlebag Island

2:09 p.m., Friday, Sept. 18 — Deputies returning to the marina by boat were flagged down to help with a medical emergency. They contacted a patient who was walking and talking, then turned things over to EMS for further care. La Conner Marina
Moving request
5:45 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 19 — Several vehicles were illegally parked, so a deputy asked a group of patrons to move them. They complied, and all the vehicles found more appropriate places to park. 1st Street

9:07 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 20 — A caller reported a possible DUI driver. A deputy located and followed the vehicle but observed no signs of impairment. Maple Avenue
