11:45 a.m., Monday, May 11 — A caller reported two antique Japanese glass floats missing from a backyard garden. The green glass balls, measuring roughly 18 and 24 inches across, are believed to be at least 40 years old and valued between $150 and $250 each. The caller was unsure exactly when they disappeared. Suspended animation

6:14 p.m., Tuesday, May 12 — A driver stopped for traveling 62 mph in a 50 mph zone got more than expected when the deputies who made the stop discovered the driver’s license was suspended or revoked. Given the situation, the driver wisely made a call for someone else to pick up people they were headed to transport. La Conner Whitney Road.

12:56 p.m., Friday, May 15 — Deputies responded to reports of an unoccupied vehicle blocking the street, but by the time law enforcement arrived, the vehicle had already cleared out. Park Street.

7:42 p.m., Friday, May 15 — A caller reported their Amazon account was used to purchase a computer worth more than $1,600 and have it shipped to Pierce County. The victim contacted Amazon, which was expected to investigate and issue a refund. Myrtle Street.

Muffled celebration

9:24 p.m., Saturday, May 16 — Deputies responded to a noise complaint involving a wedding celebration. The caller mainly wanted reassurance the festivities would quiet down within a few hours. The event wrapped up around 10:30 p.m. Douglas Street.
