BAD IDEA

Tuesday, March 4, 7:55 a.m. – Speeder stopped on Maple Avenue by a deputy working traffic in the area and was cited for expired tabs, no insurance and driving with a suspended license. Maple Avenue, La Conner.

SELLER BEWARE

Wednesday, March 5, 12:35 p.m.- Caller was in the process of selling a boat but the boat went missing. Seller had agreed to take a down payment but the agreement was the boat was not to leave the marina until paid in full by the buyer. When the caller checked on the boat they discovered it was gone from its slip. This is a civil issue and will require repossession effort by the seller. La Conner Marina.

NO MEANS NO

Wednesday, March 5, 2:15 p.m. – When a stylist refused to participate in a political conversation and would not validate a customer’s feelings on the issues, customer became angry. Customer was asked to leave but then pushed her way back into the business to retrieve items she left behind. Nasty things were said by the customer and the prosecutor is reviewing for possible assault charges. La Conner.

FESS UP OR FACE THE CONSEQUENCES

Sunday, March 9, 8:47 a.m. – Caller reported a hit and run in the roundabout that occurred at approximately 8:30 a.m. Caller had followed the offending car expecting them to pull over, but when they didn’t, caller turned in their license plate. La Conner.

 WHAT’S MINE ISN’T YOURS

Sunday, March 9, 9:45 a.m. – Caller was fighting with former boyfriend over returning each other’s items. Caller said she was holding onto his things until he gave back hers. Although this was a civil dispute, parties were contacted and advised items obviously belonging to the other should be returned. Caledonia Street, La Conner.
