9:20 a.m., Tuesday, Aug. 25 – Management at Mavrik Marine reported that a former employee had allegedly made online threats toward the company and several employees. The contacts were documented, and staff were advised on the process for seeking a no-contact order. No indication the former employee was in the area. Pearle Jensen Way
Missed opportunity
2:35 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 25 – A caller reported a vehicle weaving through traffic and suspected the driver might be impaired. Unfortunately, the report came after the caller had already arrived home, leaving deputies with stale information and no vehicle to locate. Maple Avenue at Caledonia Street
Sideswiped
1:25 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 26 – A driver reported that a large truck struck her vehicle the previous evening, leaving behind scratches and a missing side mirror before continuing on without stopping. Deputies documented the damage, but no identifying information on the truck was available. La Conner Whitney Road at McLean Road

10:32 a.m., Thursday, Aug. 27 – The Sheriff’s Office Crisis Response Team conducted a welfare check after a person called expressing thoughts of self-harm. Responders determined there was no immediate danger, developed a safety plan with the individual, and connected them with additional community support services. Park Street
