11:52 a.m., Monday, Aug. 17

A resident called the Skagit County Sheriff’s Office about disposing of ammunition, and was advised to check out local gun ranges or gun stores. Maple Avenue

PARANORMAL PROWL-TIVITY

5:09 p.m., Monday, Aug. 17

A resident reported someone had entered their vehicle sometime overnight. The vehicle, which was believed to be locked, showed no signs of damage or forced entry, and nothing was reported missing. Perhaps a job for the Ghostbusters. Rainier Street

LAWFUL CLIMBING

9:27 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 20

A caller reported seeing individuals climbing the cell tower. When deputies arrived, they learned they were not Spider-Man copycats, but simply contractors on a job that had run late. Pioneer Park

SOMEONE’S IN TROUBLE

3:46 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 23

A caller reported a hit and run in a parking lot. As of Monday, the Sheriff’s Office is waiting for more information from the victim. Second Street
