– The marina reported a litter of found kittens, but by the time a deputy arrived, the tiny fugitives had already made their escape. No catnapping suspected. North Second Street

– A driver tailgated the wrong person when they followed a deputy too closely, inviting scrutiny. The driver was found to have a suspended license and no insurance, earning a citation. La Conner Whitney Road
