7:45 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 27 While strolling the shoreline with her pooch, a woman’s wallet went AWOL. Deputies conducted a flashlight fashion show along the parking lot and beach, but the missing money-holder failed to make a cameo. Pearl Jensen Way beach.

4:07 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 28 Two drivers nearly collided in Pioneer Park, sparking a symphony of honks and hollers. License plate info was gathered, but no crime was committed. In the end, it was just bumper-to-bumper bluster. Pioneer Park.

8:15 p.m. Friday, Aug. 29 Deputies rolled up to find a camper van crew pitching an impromptu “skate-park campground,” complete with a fire pit. The uninvited glampers were advised to roll their home-on-wheels to a more fire-friendly venue for the night. La Conner High School.

3 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 30 A trio of rowdy revelers turned a Laurel Street garage into a stage for loud music and louder arguments. Deputies arrived to quiet the chorus, finding no laws broken but plenty of hot air. The headliners were told to tone it down or split before the encore got too heated. Laurel Street.
