A tow truck driver got more than he bargained for when another motorist rolled through a stop sign and right into his vehicle. A motorhome owner decided to turn a roadside pullout into a makeshift campground. Law enforcement stopped by to “pull out” the welcome mat, advising that camping isn’t permitted there. The camper was sent packing — home is where you park it, but not that home, there. Chilberg Road

The same motorhome made a second appearance, this time on city property. Officers kindly reminded the nomadic neighbor that La Conner’s city limits don’t come with a campsite. The resident packed up once more — proving lightning (and RVs) can strike twice. Caledonia and Second streets
