A confrontation followed, but she locked down the drama, securing herself and her kids in a room before calling 911. Deputies arrived and found the unwanted guest window-shopping where he shouldn’t. Friday, May 16, 8:20 a.m. A man reported his Dodge Ram had been Ram-sacked during the night. A neighbor heard it making a getaway around 2 a.m. but assumed it was the owner taking an early joyride. Cameras came up empty, and the truck was officially marked as stolen. It was later found abandoned at Maple and Morris — clearly, the would-be thief ran out of gas for his crime spree. State Street.

Vandals got away clean after ripping out dispensers and turning the floor of the public restrooms into a slip and slide hazard. By the time a deputy arrived, Public Works had already cleaned up their act. Bubbles popped, case closed. Good job, clean team! First Street.
Dance Floor Drama
Friday, May 16, 7:30 p.m. At a school dance, what should’ve been a night of fun stepped on some toes — literally and figuratively. Several girls allegedly targeted another student with name-calling, hair-pulling, and shoving while filming the incident. The situation was no dance party for the victim. Venmo Vandalism (Sort Of)
Friday, May 16, 7:40 p.m. A couple of wire-fraud wannabes, two masked juveniles approached a man and played a phone sound that mimicked a money transfer, claiming they had cashed him out. Turns out it was just a prank — no funds moved, just nerves rattled. Deputies located the pair and delivered a stern lesson about pranking. No charges — just a good old-fashioned reality check.
