The third annual Skagit Tidewater Boil and Skagit Farm to Pint FEST, a benefit for Genuine Skagit Valley presented by the Port of Skagit, drew large crowds to La Conner last week. More than 80 farmers, brewers, food producers, vendors, musicians, and chefs participated in the events, highlighting the strength of Skagit Valley’s food, drink, and agricultural community. According to Genuine Skagit Valley Director Blake Van Roekel, this makes it the Pacific Northwest’s most local beer and food festival.
