Clara Ottesen 

The Elementary Student of the Month for October is Clara Otteson. Clara’s parents are Kai Otteson and Jules Riske. Clara is in the fifth grade at La Conner Elementary School.  She enjoys science so she can mix solutions in chemistry. She likes reading graphic novels and fantasy stories. Her favorite subject is art as she can express herself through her artwork. After school she hangs out on the family farm or goes to the Braves After School Program. She likes to play softball in the spring. Clara is thinking about becoming a teacher, artist or student counselor in the future.

Madilynn Larson

Middle School Student of the Month for October is Madilynn Larson. Madilynn’s parents are Steve Larson and Irene Darnell. She is in the eighth grade at La Conner Middle School. Madilynn enjoys her Leadership Class where she is learning leadership skills and helps plan school activities. She is ASB Secretary for the middle school.She plays volleyball and after school, she hangs out with friends and family. She enjoys traveling to new places. Madilynn would like to attend college after graduation and become an immunologist as well as travel.

Rosalia Aviles Rizo 

High School Student of the Month for October is Rosalia Aviles Rizo. Rosalia’s parents are Manual Aviles Peres and Rosalia Rizo Deaviles. She is a Junior at La Conner High School. Rosalia is a cheerleader and part of the Varsity in Volunteering Club and the Eagles Nest Club. After school, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends.  After graduating, she plans to attend college to train to be an ultrasound technician.
