A fire reported early Saturday morning damaged a storage outbuilding, referred to as the Plug Ugly building at 503 Morris St., according to La Conner Fire Chief Aaron Reinstra.
Crews from La Conner Fire Department, Fire District 13 and McLean Road Fire Department responded to the call that came in at 6:58 a.m. The Skagit County Sheriff’s Office also assisted at the scene.
Firefighters quickly extinguished the blaze. One person sustained minor injuries and was taken to the hospital.
The Skagit County Fire Marshal is investigating the cause of the fire.
