Guitar vendors, luthiers and music enthusiasts filled Maple Hall May 16–18 for the La Conner Guitar Festival, where attendees listened to, played, and shopped for handmade instruments.

Luthiers from across North America, including Jeremy Pappenfus of Pappenfüs Guitars, showcased custom guitars and shared their craftsmanship with the public.

Pappenfus is based in Columbia Falls, Montana, this was his first year at the festival. 

“The festival was great. It was my pleasure to be part of the event in this wonderful community,” he said in an email.
