Remembering Nicky P. Papritz

Nicky Papritz passed away on April 12, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving behind his beloved Judi who gave him so much joy and happiness. He lived an amazing and adventurous life as a pilot, a builder, a boater, a cook, and finally chose to settle in La Conner where he met Judi Paulovic. Nicky will be remembered as the owner of the “Patricia Ann” tugboat moored on the waterfront of La Connor. The town may well remember the parties he gave for friends and community on this historical tugboat.

He is preceded in death by his parents Bob and Edna Papritz, Malcom his brother, and his son Robert. He is survived by Judi Paulovic, partner in life, his sister Andrea Dash, and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Although Nicky is gone, he will never be forgotten.
