Art lovers and festivalgoers will have a rare opportunity to explore the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival’s rich visual history at a special exhibition featuring 32 original festival posters. The exhibit will highlight the work of local artists who have captured the beauty of the valley’s iconic tulips since the festival’s inception in 1984.
For the first time, thanks to support from the Anacortes Arts Festival and the City of Sedro-Woolley, these original artworks will be on public display. Visitors can immerse themselves in the creativity behind each piece and learn more about the artists who brought them to life.
The exhibition will be held in two locations:
- The Local Shop, 817 Metcalf St. in Sedro-Woolley, open 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. daily April 5 – 11
- The Depot Art Center, 611 R Ave. in Anacortes, opening at 5 p.m. on April 18 and then from noon – 4 p.m. daily April 19 – 25
This is a unique opportunity to experience the history of the Tulip Festival through the eyes of the artists who have shaped its legacy.
